Junk Henry Furniture is handmade by Designer / Builder, Wendel Wright.  The pieces from our Custom Collection are made from antique, reclaimed wood, harvested from houses and barns around the country.  Each piece is an original design and includes our signature fine finish; rough and rustic look, but smooth and easy to clean.  Need a specific size piece?  We build to spec!

Our Restoration Collection includes hand picked antiques that have been rebuilt and refinished with our signature fine finish, then given new life as a useful or decorative piece in your home.

Our shop is located in the rolling hills of Missouri...overlooking the Missouri River Bottom......right in the middle of farm country.  Corn, soybeans and cattle are some of our closest neighbors.

Our furniture is simple and classic in style....solidly built to withstand everyday use....and artistic in design to blend past materials with modern expectations.

The name Junk Henry was the name given to a man from Craig, MO, by the towns people from the area.  Junk Henry made his living by gathering the discarded items that others threw away or had no use for.

He would haul these items by horse and wagon back to his shop where he would spend time sorting and fixing the items to sell.

We are reinventing his tradition of giving new life to discarded items and reclaiming building materials to be used or displayed in your home.

Our hope is that our furniture can add a piece of art to your home that you are not afraid to use.
